I wrote a text adventure game which won 14th place in the rec.arts.int-fiction competition in 2004.
This was the product of about 3 months of work in my spare time. Sadly, I still only won 14th place out of 30. Some of the games from 1 to 13 were clearly better than mine, but some were just terrible, so I think I deserved a little higher place. Regardless, it was great fun writing it.
